RADIO

Welcome to Collegiate Cronkites on KCSB FM 91.9, your news that’s just the way it is. Welcome back to Collegiate Cronkites, literally too good for radio. It's been a hell of a quarter to do this show. Between writing, researching, editing, recording, mixing, and managing the booth, Mat and I have had put in countless hours and lost tons of sleep doing Cronkites. We're so honored that we even had the opportunity to put on this show, and we're just happy that at the end of the day, somebody was listening. If you learned anything, anything at all from this show, then we've done our jobs well. Enjoy our last show, Ben and Mat This week: UN sanctions on North Korea, unanimous, plus China says ok Reformists win big in Iran Brazil’s ex-president detained on corruption suspicion Turkey cracks down on the press Main story: the Role of American Soft Power

Welcome back to Collegiate Cronkites — where we tell you depressing stuff and try to make it sound way more chill than it actually is. Top stories from this week: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani visits with Pope Francis, we walk back our assessment of Zika virus as the WHO prepares to convene, and we provide a breakdown of the growing Syrian refugee/migrant crisis. Our main story this week: Iowa. The Iowa caucuses are tomorrow, but what does this mean for the average American? Since when do people care this much about Iowa — the state that gave us Michelle Bachman and Ashton Kutcher.
